Ivana Zuskinová

Ivana Zuskinová (*1991) is a Slovak artist and multidisciplinary designer based in Prague, following several years of living and working in London. Her practice focuses primarily on glass, objects, and spatial installations. She is interested in material transformation, color, craft experimentation, and sensory experience.

She is a graduate of the Glass Design studio at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where she studied under Petr Stanický and Michaela Spružinová. She later continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the Intermedia II studio, led by Pavla Sceranková and Dušan Zahoranský. Her work bridges a conceptual approach with an emphasis on craftsmanship and direct engagement with materials. She is known for her bold use of color and experimentation with glass technologies, including glass powder screen printing. She is also a member of the glass-focused Off-Grid Collective, which explores experimental glass work and contemporary collectible design.

In 2018, she received the Elle Deco International Design Award (EDIDA) for Light of the Year for her project Lúčetône – Lúč I. She has presented her work at Designblok in Prague, Milan Design Week as part of Alcova Milano, the Contemporary Glass Art Museum in Alcorcón, and at various other domestic and international exhibitions. Since 2017, she has worked as a designer at Lasvit, where she creates glass installations for international projects.
