Lucie K. Švitorková is a Czech glass artist based in Železný Brod. Švitorková studied with Ilja Bílek in the Glass Studio at the Faculty of Art and Design of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University. From 2015 to 2016, she was the head of the studio of fused sculpture and glass cutting at the SUPSS in Železný Brod (School of Applied Arts and Glass in Železný Brod).
She creates her glass sculptures mainly using the fused glass technique. Since 2015 she has been working in Studio Lhotský, where she also creates her own works and gains experience with advanced casting techniques. He is not afraid to push the boundaries of fused sculpture to unusual and daring shapes full of surprises. At first glance, classic bowls hide a mystery inside.
