Vladimíra Klumparová

A graduate of Libenský's studio (1981), living in the USA, Mexico and the Czech Republic. Melted objects capturing inner trembling, rhythm and the memory of place in glass.

Vladimíra Klumparová (*1954) began her educational journey at the Glass Art School in Železný Brod. She completed her studies less than a decade later, at the UMPRUM in Prague under the guidance of renowned artist and professor Stanislav Libensky. Klumparová is a recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Scholarship and her works have been exhibited in Europe and other continents. She was one of the outstanding talents of her generation and has exhibited both at home and abroad since 1982. At the first international glass symposium in Nový Bor in 1983, she established a relationship with glass artist Michal Pavlík, who was living in the USA at the time and to whom she moved.
