Petr Stanický (*1975) works with glass as an architect. His works are an independent specific glass space that affects human senses and emotions. Although he designs, constructs and often combines materials in his works, he rarely denies glass its natural optical-aesthetic properties – transparency and reflection. This applies to his solitary sculptures and imaginative interventions in architecture and nature. In them, he uses the specificity of the surroundings, which naturally becomes part of the work. For the native of Přílep, near Kroměříž, glass is a building material and a working tool at the same time – it is a means, not an end. He treats it effectively, efficiently and rationally, but not coldly and calculatingly. Therefore, his works cannot be passed over in passing, it is necessary to stop at them. And become part of the folding space.
